Why This Conversation Matters
Artificial intelligence is everywhere — embedded in our phones, our workplaces, our classrooms. Most of it today is narrow AI: systems that do one thing well, like scheduling meetings or recognizing images. Researchers are working toward general AI, which could learn across domains. And beyond that lies superintelligence — intelligence that surpasses human capacity entirely.
The very definition of superintelligence means it would think beyond us. To believe we could “control” it is like a dog believing it can predict its owner’s every move. The dog has no concept of vets, medicine, or technology — only its limited frame of reference. Likewise, we humans cannot anticipate all the ways a superintelligence might act.
Risks and Opportunities
History shows us how society can rush headlong into new products or innovations without fully grasping the consequences. Cigarettes were once marketed as glamorous, only later revealed to be deadly. AI is being embedded into everything — platforms, devices, networks — at a pace that leaves little room for reflection.
But it’s not all doom. Superintelligence could free us from working, giving us time to rebuild communities, reconnect with neighbors, family, and focus on creativity. The question is: how do we prepare ourselves and our children for a radically different world?

In a future where AI agents can draft reports, analyze data, and even simulate conversation, what will set humans apart? Our deeper, soulful, communication.

AI is neither a savior nor a threat — it’s a tool. But like any tool, its value depends on how it’s used, understood, and communicated.
Narrow and general AI — the systems we currently interact with daily — are not inherently dangerous. They can liberate human potential, streamline work, and enhance creativity.
Superintelligent AI, however, is the unknown variable. It represents a level of capability that could outthink, outmaneuver, and ultimately outgrow human control.
Many respected voices in the field, including Dr. Roman Yampolskiy, have warned against rushing toward superintelligence without global consensus or safeguards.
From my expertise, to pursue it blindly would be like sawing off the very branch humanity sits on.
At this stage of our evolution, we should welcome narrow and general AI — learn how to use them wisely — but pause before crossing into superintelligence. Until we fully understand its implications, developing it would be reckless. The entire world deserves a say in that decision.
Even now, general AI behaves unpredictably; engineers patch and adjust code to manage outcomes they don’t entirely understand.
Superintelligence would operate beyond those limits — capable of rewriting its own rules, reverse‑engineering systems, and acting in ways we cannot foresee.
To imagine superintelligence is to imagine an alien mind — one that doesn’t share our instincts, ethics, or emotional framework. If we were told an extraterrestrial species with superior intellect was arriving in five years, we’d prepare carefully. Yet with AI, we’re racing ahead gleefully, embedding it everywhere, without looking at the road ahead.
We must decide how far we’re willing to go — and whether we’re ready for what waits at the edge of that cliff.

Before evolving into my current role as a specialist coach in neurolinguistic programming (NLP), communication and strategic leadership mindset development, I spent over two decades immersed in commercial and legal sectors—building a career that blends practical business acumen with deep human communication expertise.
I began in sales, marketing, and business development, coaching high-performance teams for global institutions such as HSBC, where I led training for private wealth and retention departments.
I later founded and ran a successful marketing and communications consultancy for over 10 years, operating across the UK and Europe. During this time, I collaborated closely with real estate and mergers / acquisitions lawyers, supporting their client acquisition strategies, brand positioning, and cross-border cultural communications.
I also served as International Business Development and Marketing Director for one of the UK’s leading property services firms, where I worked alongside legal teams to develop client-facing messaging, streamline onboarding processes, and enhance strategic visibility in competitive markets.
This foundation gave me a unique vantage point: I understand the pressures, expectations, and nuances of legal and commercial practice—not just from the outside, but from within. My transition into coaching was a natural evolution, deepening my expertise through Master Practitioner certification in NLP, advanced ESL training, and further study in leadership mindset, public communications and energy work.
